Print My Baby has created a baby girl birth announcement gadget/widget modeled after the popular Pink Striped Baby Birth Announcement. This gadget allows you to create your own baby birth announcement and download it for FREE!

Its really easy to use, just enter the file location of your baby’s photo, fill out the rest of the form, click Update, and wait for the gadget to create your invitation. You can adjust the image by clicking the announcement once it has loaded. To download your custom announcement, just click the download link that appears after you Update it. We also want to encourage people to use it on their baby themed websites. You can get a copy of the gadget here.

Scribus: Scribus is an open source desktop publishing application similar to Microsoft Publisher, except that its FREE. It can be used to create greeting cards, invitations, brochures, and much more. There are lots of great templates you can use to get you going in the right direction.
Three-Dimensional Cards: The DIY network has a lot of great ideas, including this step by step instruction on creating three-dimensional greeting cards.

Baby Desktop Wallpaper Background

Create your own desktop wallpaper with your baby’s photos on top. This tool dynamically places the photo of your baby or child on top of a selected desktop background.
This tool was created with the help of Mikko’s Blog, a great Imagick Resource.

Instructions

Click the browse button to find the image of your baby you want to use to place on the desktop wallpaper.
Select the Canvas you want to use as the background.
Select your screen size.
Click “Go”. Please be patient as it could take up to 30 seconds to generate your wallpaper.

Installation (Windows)

After you click Go, a box will open asking if you want to view the image or save it. Click Save and save it somewhere you will remember.
Right click on your computers current background and select Properties.
Click the Desktop tab at the top and then select Browse.
Find the image that you just created, select it, and click Open.
Click Apply and you are done!
