3 Do It Yourself Cards and Invitations

Origami Greeting Cards: This is a great project for both kids and adults. Origami is always fun and even practical in this case. This can be a great project for a few invitations or cards, but it might be too time consuming for lots of invitees.


Scribus: Scribus is an open source desktop publishing application similar to Microsoft Publisher, except that its FREE.  It can be used to create greeting cards, invitations, brochures, and much more. There are lots of great templates you can use to get you going in the right direction.
Three-Dimensional Cards: The DIY network has a lot of great ideas, including this step by step instruction on creating three-dimensional greeting cards.
